The story
A great spotted woodpecker clings to the dark, its black-and-white feathers mapped dot by dot, crowned with a flash of red. Around it, a starry field of silver and crimson points glitters like frost on bark.
Graphic, crisp and full of rhythm — you can almost hear the tap-tap-tap echo through the forest.
