The story
Amber eyes glow out of a forest of moss-green and smoke-grey dots. This wolf is not the villain of the fairy tale but its wild, watchful heart — fur built from countless strokes of honey, ash and rust.
He is one half of the story “He Wouldn't Be Him Without Her”, painted to hang beside Little Red Riding Hood: every hunter needs his tale, and every tale needs its wolf.
